Ready for a new look?

The Office of Service and Discipleship at Azusa Pacific University is thrilled to unveil its fresh new look! My updated branding for the office reflects OSD’s commitment to serving the community and fostering spiritual growth among students.

The Process

In 2022, Azusa Pacific University underwent department changes and decided to merge its thriving service office with its discipleship program. From this merger, the Office of Service and Discipleship was born! With a new name, came a need for new branding!

So, I started with quick thumbnail sketches with the new name!

My goal was to unify the three separate departments into a unified office through an interlocking pieces logo with icons already familiar to each.

The original logo and color palette. This rebrand required a new logo!

I did visual and word research with the director of the office and the marketing manager.

The important piece that came out of this iteration was using specific icons to represent each department but in a cohesive-circular logo.

Global represented by a circular globe, discipleship by a rectangular sculpture on campus, and local by the Azusa mountains.
